“No one ever said it was going to be easy to relocate to Los Angeles from Cornwall, Ontario. I had no idea how difficult it would actually be. Until the very last minute I figured I was going to drive my SUV with a U-Haul on the back with some of my possessions. Unfortunately my plans were stopped due to the fact that I could not import my SUV into the States without a major hassle.
I called countless movers and do-it-yourself type solutions. They were all out of my budget range and seemed ridiculously expensive.
In comes Mike. The total professional from the very first phone call. He assured me he could get me a good rate and get my stuff safely packed and to Los Angeles on time.
When he picked my shipment up there was a major snowstorm. I had just found out that my rides to the airport had cancelled due to this weather and I had to go to Montreal by train. I was in a panic I was late to get to the train station and I hadn’t even packed for the flight yet. Mike said “No worries I can get everything loaded for you and we can take care of the paperwork via computer.”
Mike was super polite, his correspondence was perfect and the delivery arrived safely and perfectly packed. All my prized guitars, music gear and household belongings were safe and sound.
Hats off to Mike and his crew. I can’t say enough good things about this experience!!

Just want to tell you that the move in was a total success. Your great team brought everything in quickly and were very accommodating in the placement of furniture and boxes. They carefully laid pad everywhere to protect our floors and when the move was completed and the pads removed there were no signs they’d been there. The guys in particular where friendly and showed care in the handling of our processions. As an ex facilities management officer with the Federal Government I have dealt with many moving crews and your crew ranks among the best I have worked with. I will recommend your services to our friends.

Mike: note our email has changed. This is just a note to say thanks and advise you of how happy we were with the moving service provided by Great Canadian Van Lines. They were courteous, careful and helpful at both ends and our stuff arrived here on Friday Nov 18th and there wasn’t a scratch or a dent on anything — even the large glass that covers the desk was in perfect shape! I must say that’s a better record than we’ve ever had in moves within the city of Toronto, using top notch movers, where it seems something gets broken or damaged every time we move.

Absolutely fantastic crew. They work fast, efficiently, and are polite, pleasant and their teamwork is excellent.
The crew reconfirmed the details of move and packing services at least 24 hours prior to the service being preformed. The crew arrived on time. They came in uniforms. They lay floor runners to protect the main traffic areas in our home. Our furniture was blanket wrapped for protection.
